Yesterday

Great big Alsation dog roaming the village, so naturally Dougie feeds him. We were at home when suddenly he appeared in our garden sniffing the air so assume he smelt the dinner cooking. We tried to get him out but he was not having it as we had to go to Silistra so we locked up and assume he would find his own way out as he did coming in. Our balcony is covered in flynets and plastic. We almost got to the next village up he road when I realised I forgot my purse so we had to turn back - lucky we did the dog had got onto the balcony but ripping all the door plastic and flynet and jumped inside but he could not get out. Dougie was not pleased. We let him out and chased him over the garden until he got out thought the opened gates then we had to hunt him away. He came down three times after that but we chased him away every time. Dougie spent the afternoon replacing the flynets and plastic ... Just found out he may belongs to one of the neighbours further down the village and they have gone away and left him maybe to fend for himself. We already feed him this morning and tonight will bring him food down to the centre but try to keep him away from our place.

Ah it appears Dotcho is already on top of the situation with the dog. We went down the centre to find him today but he was not there and when I asked Dotcho about it he said he already spoke to the Mayor yesterday morning and the people who are looking after him came last night and took him back to his home and tied him up with a chain this time. Poor dog was starving so hope they don't forget to feed him again.

Sad to hear about the dogs plight, but you have started a trend by feeding him...he'll be back!!!

Yes I bet he will sooner or later. Dougie fed him away from our place but the smell of food seem to have drawn him as he was sniffing the air all the time. I keep telling Dougie not to feed the dogs but it goes in one ear and out the other. Maybe now he will listen as the dog caused so much damage took him all afternoon to fix it.
