I personally don't know them but a friend of mine used them sometime ago and wasn't happy with them, she said that she felt they weren't professional in their approach.

Their customer service is arogant, hardly speaks any english is very illiterate and neglectful.
Especially the Holiday-rentals.co.uk Review department.
Forget about getting through to their so called legal department or managing director- they do not exist
They rather you cancell your listing and go away without refund.
Holiday-rentals.co.uk are not caring about your business or relations with them.
I think 'the company' is pair of rude, illiterate computer Geeks pretending to be large web listing company
They pocketed my money and as far as they are concerned they do not owe me anything more
I was left with no other option but to have remove my listing and go away without any refund or apology.
I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST LISTING YOUR PROPERTY WITH HOLIDAY-RENTALS.co.uk and
their parent company HOMEAWAY.com
very unhappy holiday homeowner

Thank you for that willowsend its always useful to know these things about these companies I know there are people out there who are desperate to rent and in some cases they don't always check and are to eager to hand over payment so information like this will help others .

Have any members on this forum ever been refused advertising rights with

I have and it is all down to a certain James Letterby (and we all know who that is) contacting them and as you can read below, telling them a pack of lies. He also did the same last year with the other holiday company, namely Holiday Lettings now part of tripadviser and the police have a statement to that effect

After six months of fighting for my rights with their legal department, They asked for a copy of the Title Deeds, a copy of the proof of purchase and a copy of my driving licence, so they obviously prefer to believe the perpetrator (James Letterby) rather than me and the police. I have, under The Data Protection Act 1989 requested information which led to the deactivation of my account, only to be ignored, so I have now put in a report/complaint to the Information Commissioners Office.

Yes your right Brian most of us do know who this fool is. Unfortunately the world is full to overflowing with people like him and there doesn't seem to be a way of getting rid of them easily but I would tell others to not shop or buy anything from him at all, there are plenty of other English food shops about. good luck to you Brian .

Sorry folks if I am repeating myself, but for thoses members who have not read the following elsewhere. I would like you to see what they sent out to my clients resulting in one family cancelling their 2 week holiday. Sorry to hear this Brian but these companies are only interested in what goes in the till and sod any problems that come along? If it means they have to work then its not cost effective so for them to actually do the right thing is too expensive and they fear they won't make money from you. I have read somewhere on the Internet of others having problems with these people so don't feel as if its you because it isn't its just that they are a lousy company.
