| We ent to Malak today as it was one of the children's 11th birthday and this little lad is also being adopted along with his sister - they are going to USA in Sept amd really looking forward to it. Both have been with us since we start Malak 6 years ago and although we will miss them we are very happy for them both..... We also had funds donated earlier in the year and as Malak needed bunk beds we had 6 sets made in Silistra they were delivered on Friday. They are lovely and the children love them. We will now work towards bedroom furniture to match the beds so the place will be a ray of colour. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Yesterday we had delivered the rest of the new furniture the wardrobes and shelf units that our friend Helen Wilson paid for and we had them made by the same company who made the bunkbeds. Now all the rooms in Malek Preslavets are furnished and the orphanage is a ray of colour. The children are so very happy what lovely xmas present!! Thank you Helen you are a star This orphanages has everything they need now including the new duvet and duvet sets. They are like the Dimcho very comfortable. We have been providing for them for 6 years now and 7 for the Dimcho. They have all mod cons ie Wii, Xboxs, computers and more. So now we will let them enjoy their new home we are so luckly to have been able to help and most of all to see how happy the children are. We have all made such a major difference to their lives. Well done!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Yesterday we met with sponsors from The St James Church Hull Steve and Jill Webb who visited Silistra to purchase a washing machine with funds donated from the church community, with their funds and the funds donated last year from Annie Kay from the British Bulgarian Society London, we could afford to get a new large washing machine for the Malek Preslavetz children's home. The director picked out the machine herself along with an insulation mat. She was very pleased indeed and wish to say a massive 'Thank You' to all who contributed to this wonderful gift, You are all amazing thank you so much.
