Only 3 day's to go now and there will be a mass departure of Bulgarian and Romanian people, especially emigrants to the United Kingdom
According to Nigel Farrage 29 million will be arriving, so every airplane, every train, every bus, will be way over booked, not forgetting the private lada cars and 10 occupants queuing up at the borders. Nearly forgot to include the donkey and carts and the gypsies on foot who will trudge their way across the snow bound roads of Europe Mass Exodus 3367882216
I hope Nigel Farrage had a wonderful Christmas and enjoys the New Year

We have asked all our BG friends and none of them know of anyone fleeing to the UK. This is all a PR exercise started by Cameron hoping that the British electorate would think he is doing something about the swelling numbers in the UK.

I know of 1 young lady and her boyfriend leaving Burgas, her school friend (from earlier days) has arranged everything for them in Manchester, job and a flat! It seems jobs are there if you are willing and able.

I have asked round in BG and nobody said they were leaving to go to the UK,

In the UK I drive round a lot, and I have never seen BG car until today... but today I have seen a few!

There was one person on there own ,lost on our industrial estate in Runcorn looking for the way to Liverpool.....and then on the way back to Liverpool there is a parking area were lorries stop for the night, in it his freinds in 3 Bulgarian cars , each with a couple in looking for Manchester....

All spoke perfect english and were to be employed by the same company in Manchester, all driving in convoy and had left 2 weeks ago from Sofia, the first car had broken down yesterday and was catching the others up at Liverpool , I had to show the first car were the others were from his description of by the dog shelter in Liverpool by the airport.

No I don't know of anyone either. Regarding jobs, yes there are plenty of 'Jobs' around such as agriculture, fruit picking and factory packing usually at the minimum wage. I am sorry to say not many people here would work for that - but to Bulgarian's and Romanian's these are jobs they are used to and think nothing of putting in a 14 hour a day, that is what they will have to do to make any kind of wage here. unfortunately people rave about how good the money is in the UK but once you take the rent, fuel, food and travel expenses etc out they will be left with very little so the next step is to claim living credits or what ever they call it, that makes up what they class as a livable wage. Then where does that leave us!! hum back to the beginning again

I am sure the people coming here will have high hopes and have every intention of working for a living and supporting their families, but can we honestly say they will be better off coming to the UK - I don't thinks sooooooooooooo H They will be frowned upon and will suffer many abusive comments such as, you lot are coming here taking our houses and our jobs etc etc I am sure we have heard it all before. We have lots of Polish here in Peterborough and you would not believe how many times I have heard those phases!! :Mass Exodus 3897195628: I have tried to reason with people like that but it is a total waste of time - I was treated like that myself many years ago when we first moved to Peterborough. The locals totally resented us moving in taking their jobs and houses they worked all their life for. Live next to one family for 6 years and not once did they bid me good day, even thought I always said hello. But I expect that is life. We will wait and see what happens when they arrive Mass Exodus 511078427

I'm with you Berni..up in Newark we also had many Polish workers and I actually employed a team of them when renovating my very old cottage. They were a cheerful bunch, very meticulous in their work and always turned up on time. I came to know them very well over the months and we had many interesting chats over a cuppa...I still get Xmas cards from one of them, even after 7 years! Other members of their particular group worked on farms out in the fenland and over Boston way..doing jobs that no-one else wanted!

Going by the 'expert' predictions, it's going to be a case of..'Would the last people out of Bulgaria and Romania please turn the lights off.'
