| Thanks to the moles we have now filled the planter with earth and planted the onions and garlic. I probably did it wrong as BG's plant them about 8" apart I just did about 2 to 3" so have about 70 or each planted now. Just see what happens in the spring. If they don't take than I will have learned a lesson and will plant big rocks and plastic flowers there instead Will give it a paint later in the year too. I think Ginka told me once that the big gaps are so they can get their half moon hoe between to weed. |

| You'll have no problems keeping the planter weed free Berni...it's just the right height and size to do it all by hand, no need for a big hoe. |

| Today has been a beautiful day so I to stick the broken tiles on the side of the gazebo and I must say I do like it just a shame I don't have much colour variety. I have run out of tile adhesive so will get more tomorrow in Silistra. Tomorrow I will add the small bits between so it fills it out a but more. Will finish it off with some red stuff in the grout maybe. What do you think. Oh I have also made some lovely flowers to trail up the posts see photo below. Next will have to look at some kind of pots for the plastic flowers. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I think you do need to fill in the gaps a bit more, otherwise you will be grouting forever!
Is it my eyes, or does that end upright have a bit of a lean to it? |

| Well feeling happier now, the villa has had a fresh coat of paint Dougie been doing that whilst I have been tiling and grouting the gazebo. Thanks for the tip [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] that worked really well. I have one side completed now so enough for today. | This morning I manage to finish the wall on the left but not cleaned it off yet as had to go to town and it was pouring down when we got back so cannot continue until it is all clear again, actually still pouring and the worst thing is I ordered 10 cubs of wood to be delivered tomorrow or next day and the ground will be soft so mud everywhere, no rain for weeks and just had to rain when I ordered the wood, sods law! |
