First topic message reminder :

It might sound funny but now is the time to plan ahead and get your winter logs, for 2 reasons.

1) They are a lot, lot cheaper at this time of year.

2) If stored in a dry place they  will dry out and give more heat when needed.

Berni VG's price was back in 2013 so you need to wait and see what it is this year before you say that's great however it might be great again this year for her.

Well there you go, we appear to have almost gone through 8cubs of wood already, we have two rows left in the woodshed about 1cub so will have to source some wood before long. We will have to start using coal with the rest of the wood for now. I bought some of these condenced wood brickets and they were fine but when we went back they had sold out.  Will have to look around Silistra next week and see if we can get any more.  Will makes sure we order 10 or 12cubs of wood in May.

They are we think condenced solid packed sawdust like bricketts, they last a good while, very clean too. We bought them at Johan's DIY store in Silistra a packed for just under 4lev kicking myself now as we should have bought 10 packets everytime we went to town. Still I know better for next time eh!!

A lot of hotels in the UK use them and they last for hours and give out a good heat
