Happy International Womens Day to all ladies everywhere. It is very important to remember women's contribution to the world of work and love and family life. It is important and taken very seriously by many. In Mindya we had a gathering of celebration and the Mayor gave all of us a posy of snowdrops. Plates of food and drinks all set out decoratively on the tables and one of the Mindya children gave a little speech before the Mayor spoke. Music played and was enjoyed by all. My Hero surprised me by coming in half way through the proceedings to give me a posy which the ladies loved. A pic was taken of course which I am posting if you all don't mind.

I have read all of your posts over the years and on occasions thought what an old battleaxe you were, :Headbang:but now seeing that photo of you and checking on your birth date I realise who wrong I have been. Thanks Willow and you are right I can be a battleaxe when I have to be and thats why I have survived some cataclysmic events in my life. My Hero is my support and although he is years younger than me we have the same views on life, we have worked and lived together 24/7 and my family love him too. After 18 years together nothing has changed - love has many aspects.
