These are two of several villages we are researching concerning a possible move, do any members of the forum live in or near to them, if so we would be interested to hear your views and thoughts of living there, Good and bad!

been to them both, theyre small villages Hotnitza has the waterfall but thats a few km from the village,Gorna lipnitsa dosnt have much, there are nicer villages in my opinion,what type of village are you looking for, easy access to towns, shops and bars, plenty of brits, no brits,ect ,everyone has their own taste in villages and theres houses for sale everywhere,

We live in Hotnitsa and love it! Yes, it's a small village, but there are two shops and
a small supermarket has recently opened. Also two bars!
There is a village doctor, and a retired vet who still helps out if necessary.
The waterfall and surrounding area is beautiful and is only about 2kms away.
VT is 15kms and Gorna slightly less. We do our main shop in Kaufland and Lidl there.
The population is only between 300-400, with a dozen ex-pats or so.
The locals are very friendly and full of advice, whether needed or not!
Would I recommend living here? A loud yes!!
