well done, he is the number one, a genius of the snooker game. this new ranking system of points awarded to those who play more tournaments has seen less gifted players in high ranking positions that really are not deserved and we end up with boring finals.

Carter never really looked in it. Ronnie has looked on form since the first round, so no surprises there.

However, a real genius of the game, Stephen Hendry retired this year ... Ronnie still has some catching up to equal his records! Snooker Championship 570106603

Completely right Chris I watched it from the start and he was on top of his game all the way and as you say Carter never really looked as though he was even going to make it. Well done to Hendry to they called the the greatest all of all time and to some degree they were right. I would like to see Ronnie carry on for a few more years yet I think he's got a lot more to offer yet. Snooker Championship 570106603

Hendry the greatest no. Ray maybe but the best one never to win the World title has got to be Jimmy.
