First topic message reminder :

Has anybody got any home remedies to soothe chilblains?
My toes are painful and itchy at the moment and we can't get out to the pharmacy!
I'm using antiseptic cream at the moment, but it's not the answer.
Any suggestions? Angel

You beat me to it star!
Well, I rubbed my toes with an onion and yes, it did stop the itch, but only for a short while.
When I went to bed, I slapped on loads of Vaseline and that certainly gave me a good nights sleep.
I'm now wearing two pairs of socks, including a pair made from goats hair, so my feet are now
lovely and cosy! Thanks for asking. s

Just hope I don't need to try the warm urine option! Chilblains, Please Help! - Page 2 3135333095

Yes urine is excellent, my grandmother told me this years ago, but we used cotton wool and dabbed it in each toe and it does soothe.
