Subject: romanian mountain roads Tue Oct 04, 2011 1:51 pm
i'm travelling back to bulgaria on friday and i have just been told that half the mountain roads in romania are closed for roadworks. Has anyone been through lately? I wondered if they are actually closed or just aquward like they have been for the last couple of years.

Las February we did it via Vidin ferry, no problem in Romania on the road to Calafat-Timisoara-Mako-Seget.

Come back and let us know how it goes I'm going that way myself soon and it would be interesting to get something up to date as far as the roads are concerned and anything else that maybe helpful.
