Just to update those of you that are still interested in this matter.
The good news is that Duncan has been cleared of having to pay the fraudulent claim made upon him. The Judge has found in his favour.

It's been 3 years of absolute hell for him, he has had to spend thousands of lev out in legal fees to so called lawyers that did very little to help his cause. He has asked for receipts from lawyers so that he can submit them to the Court to be re-imbursed for his expenses throughout this case. There has been only one lawyer that has given a receipt for money paid. So it would seem that those that have taken money have not officially declared it and put it straight into their pockets. (Tax evasion)

To make matters worse he has been instructed by the Court to pay the perpretrator a sum of 800 lev because he or his lawyer stated that the perpretrator was a CRIMINAL. How about that for Bulgarian Justice.

He is now waiting to hear if these crims are lodging an appeal against the judgment. If they do appeal they will have to pay the sum of 10.000 euros into court to start the appeal hearing. There are only a few days left for them to do this.

Hopefully Duncan will be able to get the CHARGES placed on his land and property removed in a few days time and start to live his life in peace....

Cheated Brits Protest Bulgarian Real Estate Fraud



A crowd of angry Britons gathered before the Bulgarian Embassy in London to protest against an alleged Bulgarian property fraud worth millions of pounds.

Over 50 British citizens called for justice near Hyde Park on Monday. The reason for the protest is that they still can not enter their flats in the Bulgarian ski resort of Bansko.

They claim they invested a total of more than GBP 6 M at a "
green"
stage on 70 apartments at the All-Seasons complex in the mountains above Bansko, but were defrauded.

The investors are accusing the Bulgarian real estate company "
Zekom"
and its director, Roman Romanov, of illicit dealing.

Since "
Zekom"
has sold the property to a third party, the Britons have been denied entry to their flats in All-Seasons for over two years now.

"
Zekom"
has been unlawfully defended by the Bulgarian justice system, the protesters said.

In March 2010, 74 British citizens stormed into the Bulgarian apartment complex, saying this is the only way to gain access to their property.

Bansko, 120 miles from the Bulgarian capital Sofia, is a top-class ski resort. British buyers used to flock to Bulgaria but have largely stopped since the country's property bubble burst in 2008.

Perhaps this should be titled "

, which it certainly has for many, notably Duncan Banbury, lately. But then you have the infidels around Dobrich, well-documented elsewhere, that are trying on their own frauds, particularly on innocent insurance companies.
