Thank you Louise.Very informative and a lot of work and dedication on your part.In the 2 years I have lived in Bulgaria,I have learned the basics of some words, but putting the words together into sentences is very difficult.I think the hardest part is the male, female neutral as we don't have these in English. If only my memory was up to scratch,I might remember! The other thing I have noticed,is translations from Bulgarian to Latin are very tricky, for example,I live in Tundzha municipality.Sometimes this is translated as Tundjha, sometimes as Tunzha???? It's awful when trying to find places on maps!I have found it easiest to try to learn the Bulgarian Alphabet so you can get a true phonetic transcription.Keep up the good work! :Learning Bulgarian - Page 5 1931734156: Learning Bulgarian - Page 5 570106603

She really is quite good or should I say very good considering she is only young she seems to have got the gist of this very difficult language down to a T I have been trying for some time but without any real success I can only remember the odd word here and there but to hold a conversation NO I can't do it I think I really should give up because I think with my age being against me I don't really have a hope.

Scortan, None of what you say here is British slang and its quite insulting that you can call it that! the only people who seem to talk like this in the United kingdom are some of the younger and less educated people, so maybe you should take up the offer from Louise and you can help each other, its obvious that you don't know too much about the English language and thats not your fault but maybe its because of the people you come in contact with who speak like this? I'm afraid this is happening all over the UK including Ireland and Scotland, if I were you I would try and learn the correct way rather than the lazy way as I call it s

*correct English*
yes, you're right about that Daisy, O.K I'll try to type here in standard English. I use this weird way of writting in English because of the friends i choose to talk with, and they also type in such a maner. Anyway, I know when It is appropirate to talk or type in standard English. Learning Bulgarian - Page 5 739492727
