Hi Sandra

I believe whenever mechta used a 'q', she actually meant 'я' or 'ya'

for instance"

to work-da rabotq

should be:
to work - da rabotya - да работя

If that's the case the is there any point in this young lady doing these lessons surely to be able to give lessons you must first know the language, I not being critical but this can be very mis leading to many of us who don't know any better. Thank you both for pointing this out.

Just to avoid any confusion ... the Bulgarian 'c' is actually an 's' sound, therefore:

Greece - Гърция - is pronounced gurtsiya

Turkey - Турция - is pronounced turtsiya

etc.

^^ sorry, I sometimes get carried away...however if you started this from lesson 1 the alphabet, you should in theroy be able to translate the cyrillic to latin yourself...but in future I shall write it correctly.
