We have stayed in this hotel twice now and can highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly and the hotel offers a nice atmosphere and great surroundings located in the forest.
As the name implies it is located next to a 16th century monastery.

The actual hotel is a converted school building, so you can imagine the size of the rooms

We stayed in the 'normal rooms' but we had a tour of the complex and the 'Pallatium floor' was very well presented. If you are visiting north Bulgaria this hotel is worth considering.
