Does anyone know anywhere I can hire some scaffolding for a couple of weeks or how much it might cost. I need to fix my chimney and dont like balancing on a ladder if i can avoid it.

You can buy scaffoling in Ruse cuplings work out about 7lv each 6m length of tube about 60lv a scaffold 6m long and 4m high i worked out to about 700lv hope this helps
