hi we are hiring a car from sofia airport for 2 weeks through sikon group we are staying round the veliko turnovo area would we be able to use car to have day out in romania thanks

Shouldn't be any problems just check the insurance, and you will need a Vignette

Check with the hire company before you go because we rented a car off them last october and we weren't allowed to leave the country or cross any boarders as their insurance became void.

I can't speak for hire companies but with my eu cover I had no problems

Definately check with th company you are hiring from some companies charge an extra fee for crossing borders etc and some do not allow it.

Many people have not recieved deposits etc back because they did not check this information first. A lady i knew did this and didnt recieve her deposit back when the fee was only 50 Euros and her deposit was 200 Euros.

Check before you go and good luck!
