Second mall in Rousse also launches operation
The second mall in the north east Bulgarian riverside city of Rousse, on the border with Romania, will open for business next month. This is the second such operation within a week – after Mega Mall opened for business several days ago and now Mall Rousse follows suit, Bulgarian media reported on November 29 2010.
Mall Rousse will start operating with only a few stores, while its official inauguration will be held, as scheduled, in early 2011.
Cinema City and French hypermarket Carrefour are the first outlets to open doors inside Mall Rousse in December 2010, the report said. They will be followed eventually by restaurants, cafeterias, fashion stores, entertainment outlets and other stores.
French hypermarket chain Carrefour will span more than 5500 sq/m in areas, offering more than 7000 items to its clients.
Cinema City International, a company with more than 80 years' history, managing 707 screens in 73 cinemas in six countries, including Poland and Hungary, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania and Israel, will also launch operations in Rousse.
Cinema City is also the exclusive operator of the three IMAX theatres in Central and South eastern Europe, the report said.
