Anyone have a good route or experience of this trip.

In my haste to save a few quid on flights I thought I would give Ryanair another go. Used them all the time when flying to Spain with no problem.

After booking the flights, rather than before, I started to look at the drive in more detail. The route planners send you along the A1, around Stara Zagora and up to VT, is this better than heading up and over Shipka pass and that way around.

The flights are for next August so roads and weather should be OK.
