Our firm’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the community of Sofia extends beyond real estate development,"
says Alan D. Levy, chairman of Tishman International. "
We were happy to donate money to this outstanding programme, which not only provides housing, but helps children with physical challenges to lead fuller lives."
Tishman has been involved in a variety of development projects in Bulgaria over the past several years. One of the largest is the development of Sophia Airport Centre in partnership with G.E. Real Estate. In addition to its recent donation to the orphanage, Tishman also co-sponsored Germanos Telecom Bulgaria S.A football team in July with G.E. Real Estate for its competition in the King Sturge Charity Football Tournament. Germanos, a tenant in Sofia Airport Centre, specialises in the retailing and wholesale of technology products and services, and in the production and distribution of batteries.
Like the recent donation to the Dalbok Dol orphanage, the money raised by the charity football game helped fund programmes that support orphanages in Bulgaria.
