| First Bulgarian to Enter Formula One
Vladimir Arabadziev is the name of the first Bulgarian to join the world of Formula One. He will do test drives with the Lotus Racing team November 16 and 17.
This was made clear, as Lotus Racing has today confirmed its driver line-up for the forthcoming Young Driver Test in Abu Dhabi. The the other youngster to perform test drives is and Rodolfo González (Venezuela). Both drivers will be on track in chassis T127-02, which is the same as the team's senior drivers Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen.
" We are very pleased to have confirmed that Rodolfo and Vladimir will be driving for us in Abu Dhabi. They both come from countries with growing interest in motor sport, and the chance to give emerging drivers the opportunity to step up to Formula One is central to the Lotus Racing philosophy of embracing young talent," Riad Asmat, Lotus Racing Chief Executive Officer, commented.
" I will show 100% of my potential. This is an excellent opportunity and a dream come true!" the happy young driver said.
''Lotus Racing is a very professional team and this is a huge chance for Vladimir," Arabadzhiev's manager, Nigel Gordon-Stuart, added.
Vladimir Arabadzhiev, began his professional carrier in the Italian Formula Three Championship in 2006 before progressing to the Euro-series 3000 championship in 2007. He joined the International Formula Master series in 2008 and stayed for 2009, before racing in the 2009–10 season of the GP2 Asia Series, for the Rapax Team. He also took part in the main series for the 2010 season, moving to Scuderia Coloni. Vladimir will be in the car for the afternoon session on Wednesday 17th November. |

| it will make a refreshing change to some of those in F1 who have been there season after season, and got no where, why do they keep them, if you dont succeed then out you must go, but time and time again they are still there. give someone else a chance. good luck to him. |

| A friend of ours knows him and his family, apparently they come from Plovdiv, and his father has loads of money, so he should get on alright, as there are 2 ways to get on in F1 one is to be very talented and the other is to have loads of money behind you, hopefully he has both !!. |
