| Here we are again starting the fund raising for next years transport. We did not intend to start so soon but have a few bag packing sessions booked and when the opportunity came up for a Booksale again at my place of work, we could not turn it down. So thought we had better get :nit2:again. The Easter chick went down well so thought a mini Christmas stocking would be nice. I did this (below) over the weekend, put a chocolate sweet inside and see what people offer us. They are so cute. Have got a few people helping me so should get pleanty done by 10th Dec and what we don't see will go into the 100's of shoeboxes we will start in Feb 2011 Oddy |

Thanks a milion for your good wishes guys we really do appreciate it very much indeed. Thank God things are going good for us and I believe next year will be a great year, we are getting a good start so far. We have bag packing next week and again on 4th and 5th Dec so they funds will buy the goods for the 400+ shoeboxes. We also have the booksale on 10th so fingers crossed. We have also been looking into this new orphanage in Krushari in Dobrich and we have send some food along to them which was vouchers donated to us from Barbara Heaven one of the members from Anglo-Info. She won the vouchers for British Lion Foods but could not use them and I asked George if he could send the value of the vouchers in food the Krushari Orphanage however, George will take the food there himself and give me a report on his findings and then we can see if we can help them next year too. So watch this space We are now now getting our teeth into Micks (welshmac pehonix) with his project. He will be dropping by Peterborough on 9th Dec so our task now is to fill as many boxes with goods as we can for him for the children in the Vidin Orphanages we have made a start with 4 boxes so far Thank you once again guys for your encouragement it is always good to get good feedback. | :Xmas1: As you know we offered to help Mick at Phoenix Inspire with some goods for the children in the 2 Vidin orphanages Nevo Selo - Well we sorted and packed all the goods ie clothes, shoes, toys, books, games, blankets, towels food and a mixed box of sweets chrisps etc all packed into 28 huge boxes and they are on their way to the children in the Vidin Orphanages. Mick picked them up last night, needless to say he was delighted with the goods see pictures below. It is fantastic knowing the children will have a wonderful Christmas thanks to our own donors and friends. :Xmas1: |
