Two arrests in Scarborough real estate scam involving Bulgarian propertySofia echo Thu, Oct 29 2009
The Scarborough Evening News is reporting that police have arrested two men in connection with a fraud investigation linked to a Scarborough-based real estate firm that sells properties in various overseas countries, including Bulgaria.
The newspaper reports that two men, from the Scarborough and Blackpool areas, were arrested by officers from North Yorkshire Police's Major Fraud Investigation team.

A police spokesman said the company, Independent Property Consultants (IPC), specialised in overseas properties in a number of countries including Bulgaria, Spain and Cape Verde,"
reports the paper.
The two men, both aged 49, have been released on bail while the investigation continues.
