Passport offices in Sofia will have new working hours
Passport offices in Sofia will have new working hours from November 8 2010, the private Bulgarian television channel bTV reported.
Counters will deal with clients from 7am until 5pm. The new regulation applies to all offices in the nine district police stations in the country as well as offices from the Bulgarian identity documents service and KAT (traffic police) Durvenitsa, the report said.
Additionally, KAT will be holding an "
open day demonstration"
, whereby officers will give lessons to children in metropolitan schools on road safety.
As part of the initiative, children from several schools will congregate at the national training culture complex Maria Montessori and will draw pictures themed "
My own road safety in winter"
, while in the building's gym, citizens and children may participate in the road safety quiz, the report said.
