We have been very lucky in Silistra - the garages all seem to be very helpful and do not charge us stupid money.

You do have to be careful with some of them but in my experience they are all decent and honest but I do agree with Farhaad there are those to watch out for,

Lets make it clear that not all the bosch garages are the same, I use them and the one I use often will do things for me for nothing and I never been over charged.

I always use Bosch just outside yambol and they are first class and have never tried to over charge so I think you have just been unlucky.

I have to say that the Bosch garage I use in Plovdiv is one of the best I've used anywhere in the world..Tosho has a large team of very competent and cheerful people working for him and nothing has ever been too much trouble for them. They have serviced all of my vehicles following the manufacturers schedules right to the letter and I can't fault them. When my Nissan swallowed the cambelt last year, they arranged the recovery from Kotel, stripped and examined the engine, then advised me on what was needed. They completely rebuilt the engine, using genuine Nissan parts [new] and had her ready for me in under 10 days which is a record in itself. The best bit is..he provided an unconditional, unlimited kilometre warranty on all the work they carried out...and, I didn't even have to ask for it!
