The s1 forms are sent from the pension service, tyneview park, medical benefits, newcastle upon tyne. tel...0191 21 87777. they complete the form for you and you take it to your local health authority. who process it for you. with the s1 you can now officially register with a doctor. does take a few months.
its not totally free. a consultation with a doctor will cost only 2.20 lev rather than 25 lev we got charged before the s1. tablets are free if its for your head or your heart. any other part of the body, you pay. :Very funny 2:my other half pays 26 lev a month for three different lot of tablets. but the costs are minimal.
you will lose your rights to uk nhs treatment as you have to be resident, however, you will be provided with an ehic card from the uk which entitles you to emergency treatment in any eu country.
you will have to check up about family members and children. i know you can select members to be on your ehic card, but for registration i really dont know.
