my partner has been wood staining the decking, he was covered in the stain and went for a bath. unfortunantly the stain has gone onto the bath and i cannot remove it. i have tried bleach, washing up liquid, rubbing and scrubbing, but nothing will bring it off. now it looks hideous. is there anything that will get it off as i cannot stand it like this.

right will give it a go, its so bad a new bath is the only other option, thats how bad it is. cannot believe that wood stain could do so much cosmetic damage.

Fill your bath with hot water and put in 3/4 helpings of washing machine liquid or powder and leave over night, something to do with the ensigns in it that gets to work. Then try Borex and lemon juice mixed to a paste and apply with a sponge use rubber gloves. Hope you get it sorted.
