| why is it that you can't edited your main post after someone comments? i really need to edit it and it drives me insane when u cant!!!! akak here: viewtopic.php?f=42& t=3692can someone please sort this out?

| The answer Louise is that you can. But you can only do this for a limited amount of time I think it is about an half an hour. Hope this helps. |

| Louise what Tony has said is correct, if I were to increase this time to allow members to change/alter a post indefinitely then we would have all sorts of problems as you can imagine for example if a member has posted something that another member decided to question and the poster realised he/she have made a serious mistake they could then go back and correct it without having to admit they were wrong and making the other member look stupid? and this is only one example, this could also apply to items that are for sale ? ie changing the price as and when they wish but there are others so I think 1 hour is plenty enough time. However I'm not too sure why you will need to continually need to edit a post? can you explain? |

welll if u look at my post for this viewtopic.php?f=42& t=3692& p=29627#p29627 i wanted all the words to be one page and not all over the place...it doesnt matter ill delete it each time when i add more |

Have to agree with both Tony and Ashley on changing the content of a post when someone else has already posted. However, there have been one or two occasions lately when I have wanted to go back and change grammatical errors and so forth. However, I believe it would be impossible to introduce an editing system to differentiate between the two. |
