Hi all

Does anyone know if there is a Rockabilly scene in Bulgaria?

Brian and I love 1950's Rockabilly (I particuarly love Elvis), we have over the the years been to many weekenders all over Europe and gigs all over the UK.

I know it's a long shot but just wondering if there is anyone in Bulgaria who shares our taste in music.

Do let us know if you have any info on the Rockabilly scene it takes me back to the days of Ray campi,the saucers,blue cat trio and Crazy caven
I went to OZZ about 6 years ago to a small town called mackay its surrounded by country side and sugar cane fields in the town on the band stand was this family belting out a few hits like go away hou nd dog it was great so dont give up iam sure theres a scene this music never dies

I'm sure there should be Bulgaria is well into the early rock days I will ask around and see what I can find out for you .

i like all music these days including Janet Devlin from x factor i think she could sing rocking around the christmas tree by brenda lee

i think Janet Devlin is great from x factor I know she not singing Rockabilly however i think she could knock a few Brenda lee tracks

Hi Judy baby which rockabilly artists are you in to ..........Elvis early Sun records I like also Mac curtis,flying saucers Andy Starr

Sofia, Buzludja 12 hosts a rockabilly club, its called Elvis :) Never been there, just saw it once. The later rock/hard rock styles ( Deep Purple, Rainbow, Smokie, Uriah Heep and so on ) are more popuar in the country, I know of a few clubs and some are quite good. Let me know if you need the addresses.
