| Hi Sarah
She's fine, spoke to her yesterday.
Busy sorting wood, food and the animals pre-winter, I'm sure she'll be back here shortly!
Cheers Chris |

| She's fine! I was speaking to her last night. She's been quite busy painting all her exterior windows and doors pre-winter!
I'll drop her a line and tell her she's missed Hello & Bye |

| Hi Eneryone
Here I am and sorry to have worried you.... I am fine, just haven't been on here for ages. I do apologise.
As Chris said I have been very busy constructing a rabbits pen, the first roof collapsed so had to rethink my engineering design!!! Works fine now. I sadly had the loss of my little pekinese to cope with and also the integration of a new kitten who just wandered into the garden one rainy evening ....so young he didn't even know how to eat solid food. He is now a happy healthy bundle of mischief who terrorises all 6 dogs and the 2 adult cats. I have also been doing some outside painting, getting wood organised for the winter and also overseeing the cutting down of another English couple's garden in their holiday home.
No excuse really as I am on the computer most evenings, but have been learning some new things from a brillaint training manual Chris sent me for my website ....he really is so cool.
Anyway I am back and happy to hear from anyone. |

| Thanks for the messages Sarah and BGTraveller, nice to know folks are thinking about me at times anyway.
Just been to meet some friends returning from a week's break in the UK who brought me my beloved red Oxo cubes ...can't do without them, although I manage well without everything else. I am proud to say I can now make brown sauce almost identical to HP, baked beans and of course my own gravy ...who needs granules ..not me.
Must dash off out to catch the bunnies, Echo and Kiss, in their run and put into the hutch for the night. Next spring I shall finish making it ultra secure against any predators and they can live outside all summer long. Mini kitten, Yoyo, has also just woken up and is now prowling the desk so typing is out of the question. As for the loss of Richie, Yoyo appeared in the garden two days prior to his death ...so maybe there is a plan somewhere ... he is a great comfort anyway.
Catch you all later and BGTraveller if you PM me with any questions about this area, I will be happy to enlighten you by all means.
Have a good evening all |

| Hi Sarah Yes thanks rabbits easy to catch as they are getting tamer all the time and getting used to being carted back and forth twice a day between hutch and pen. They are only about 6 months or so old and will get even tamer as time goes on I am sure. I have never had rabbits before, although I did keep guinea pigs in the UK, and I feel that like all other creatures, if you handle them regularly, talk to them kindly and treat them well they all come round in the end .... except Sacha my oldest cat that is ...he still bites me occasionally if he is feeling grumpy or has to take a tablet !!. I actually did come in and put my feet up, once everyone was fed and watered but with a nice cup of coffee and hermesetas which also came from the UK. I haven't managed to find any sweeteners I really like here yet, but I will keep trying once these tasty ones have gone. My Oxos are far too valuable to drink, I keep those for cooking and making gravy. Hi Oddy How strange that you think you might know me. Maybe we worked together somewhere in the UK. I moved around a bit, but spent the largest number of years based in Slough and working at the local hospital, police station and later in Reading at Thames Water. After that I moved to Yorkshire and worked for the police in Bradford with a small break in Cumbria working at Kendal police station ....so maybe from one of those. It will be interesting to see if our paths have crossed at some stage. Are you here permanently in Bulgaria or UK based? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |
