CPC works actively against unfair trade practices: Damyan Lazarov
Consumer Protection Commission (CPC) works actively against disloyal trade practices, chairman of the Commission Damyan Lazarov said in an interview with FOCUS News Agency .
Lazrov mentioned some of the cases that occurred in the past week – a trade company, sending good messages to the consumer, which however in unfair combination limit his rights and puts out an incorrect accent to the consumer. Texts in the commercial object try to restrict consumer’s rights, namely the right for reclamation within the working time of the commercial object. In combination with other incorrect messages, which attract the attention of the consumer this could lead to confusion of the consumer, he explained.
There was a case which concerned categorization and name of a tourist object. A website promotes a hotel with pictures, which offers discounts, which however doesn’t respond to what consumer gets in real, Damyan Lazarov said.
