5 Romanian citizens were killed in a car crash on the Sofia-Samokov road, close to the Bulgarian capital on Friday morning.

The National Medical Coordination Center reported that the 5 Romanians were killed in a severe accident at 08:30 am. Initial information suggests that the car the Romanians were traveling in crashed in to a Bulgarian registered truck.

Police have arrived at the scene of the incident and the road is currently closed to all traffic. No other injuries were reported.
